YULEX supported a company in the artificial intelligence sector in the restructuring of its capital, involving twenty investors, in order to prepare for the sale of the company.

In 2023, YULEX represented the shareholders of an artificial intelligence start-up in connection with the sale of all the company's shares to a company based in the Czech Republic, for a purchase price of 4.3 million US dollars.

A Canadian competitor and a Polish competitor created a joint venture based in Poland in order to jointly exploit their competing software. YULEX, in collaboration with the Polish member of the Interlegal network, provided legal assistance to the Canadian company to plan, negotiate and carry out the investment as well as the transfer of intellectual property in the new Polish entity. The mandate included board governance, transfer pricing related to IP and know-how, long-term vision issues, as well as international brand image and trademarks.

YULEX and a Latin American member of the Interlegal network have combined their expertise in order to support a Uruguayan company in its investment in a Canadian company, both active in the highly regulated sector of the cultivation, manufacture and export of medicinal cannabis. In addition to the investment transaction, two major legal challenges were addressed: the recent evolution of cannabis laws and regulations, as well as the requirements for the prevention of money laundering in this context.
