The firm’s name reflects this mission: YULEX is composed of the IATA code for Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and the Latin term for “law” (LEX). In this way, the firm’s name embodies its roots in Québec while embracing its international focus.
To fulfill this mission, we have been members of the Interlegal network—which includes business law firms in more than 50 countries—since our founding. Our founding partner, Frédéric Letendre, has served as the network’s Canadian representative since 1999.
More recently, in 2024, our firm became a member of Lexing, the leading international network dedicated to technology law. This enables our firm to offer you support on every continent through our collaboration with trusted partners.
