As a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1994, Dominique is an attorney and cofounder of the firm. He has practiced corporate, commercial, and real estate litigation, as well as intellectual property law and civil liability, for 30 years. He also heads YULEX’s litigation team.
It was his curiosity of the inner-workings of our society and his passion for justice that initially led him to choose the law. After studying law at the University of Ottawa, he practiced at various firms, including Lavin Associés and Lavin Gosselin, Avocats Inc., both of which he founded.
In 2015, he cofounded YULEX with the view to offering a different approach to litigation representation, one better suited to the modern world. Today, YULEX is synonymous with rigor for him. He takes pride in supporting entrepreneurs in resolving conflicts with the help of a team that share his values.
In addition to his work as an attorney and entrepreneur, Dominique has been involved with various organizations throughout his career. He has served as president of the Bedford Young Bar Association and president of the Association des Jeunes Barreaux du Québec, and he currently serves on the board of directors of the Mont Brome Conservation Society.
He’s a true tech geek when it comes to mountain biking gear.
