After earning her bachelor’s degree in law from the Université de Montréal, Marie-Claude studied language and writing at the University of California and the Université de Sherbrooke. She was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2017, after which she spent four years working with a grievance and dispute arbitrator, participating in over 200 hearings and assisting in the drafting of arbitration awards and mediation agreements. She continued her career as lead attorney and legal counsel for an association representing executives at early childhood centers in Québec, where she built a community-focused legal department dedicated to the strategic support, the negotiation of employment contracts, the development of governance practices, and workplace training.

She chose YULEX after falling in love with the team and its human-centered values. Here, she finds an environment where teamwork is considered essential to success. Within the team, her pragmatism and ability to listen are a real asset.
